Have a Coke and a Smile

Here's a card from 1952 that doesn't get shown often:


This card was inserted into Coca-Cola cartons in the New York City area and feature players from the Giants, Dodgers and Yankees. Fronts feature a player and a 1952 home schedule for that player's team. Backs featured a playing tip for the specific position the player fielded.

  1. I have been rendered incapable of seeing or hearing the title of this post without having Richard Pryor complete the sentence in my head. This phenomenon has to be a medical condition of some sort.

  2. Funny...I was thinking the same thing when I wrote it out (except it was Eddie Murphy doing a Pryor impresonation).
